After months of planning, building, lighting, painting, and moving the literally thousands of pounds of stone sculpture that was already in here, Peter and I have transformed the once-warehouse space on 16 NW 1st St into 18 Rabbit Gallery.
Lets have a before and after picture.

Right????
We've already gone through some amazing experiences here: having the MSG Cartel paint not only the outside walls of the building, but also the fridge, the ladders, the beer bottles, the toilet plunger, and anything else that came close to their fingers poised on top of the hundreds of cans of spray-paint that went into the endeavor. The sleepless nights leading up to the first show, Fireworks. The opening reception of Fireworks, when so many of you came out to see what was going on. Jin's performance where she meditatively inscribed a large, unfired, clay pot with Korean characters, and then flooded it to beyond the brinking point, and we watched its process of dissolving onto the pedestal and the floor.
And with that night, the next chapter has already begun.
